เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ลำดับที่ ๒๙

          เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ลำดับที่ ๒๙ ทรงพระราชนิพนธ์ในพุทธศักราช ๒๕๐๒ แล้วพระราชทานแก่กรมนาวิกโยธินตามคำกราบบังคมทูลขอพระราชทานจาก พลเรือตรีสนอง นิสาลักษณ์ ผู้บัญชาการกรมนาวิกโยธินในขณะนั้น ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้วงดนตรีประจำกองเรือที่ ๗ ของสหรัฐอเมริกานำออกบรรเลงครั้งแรก ณ สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติ เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ ๕ กรกฎาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๕๐๒ ในงานแสดงของราชนาวีไทย นาวิกโยธินอเมริกัน เพื่อหารายได้สมทบทุนมูลนิธิ “มหิดล” ในโอกาสที่นาวิกโยธินอเมริกันประจำกองเรือที่ ๗ ของสหรัฐอเมริกาเดินทางมาเยือนประเทศไทยสำหรับคำร้องภาษาไทย พลเรือโทจตุรงค์ พันธุ์คงชื่น และพลเรือโท สุมิตร ชื่นมนุษย์ (ขณะดำรงยศเป็นเรือเอก) ได้ร่วมกันแต่งถวาย เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์นี้ไม่มีคำร้องภาษาอังกฤษ

Royal Composition Number 29

          The twenty-ninth royal musical composition was written in 1959 and granted to the Royal Thai Marine Corps, as humbly requested by Admiral Sanong Nisaluck, Commander of the Royal Thai Marine Corps at that time. His Majesty graciously permitted the band attached to the US7^th Fleet to have the march premiered at the National Stadium on Sunday, 5 July 1959 , at the joint show put up by the Royal Thai Navy and the US Marines to raise fund for the “Mahidol” Foundation, on the occasion of the visit of the US7^th Fleet to Thailand. The Thai lyrics were the works of Vice Admiral Jaturong Punkongchuen and Vice Admiral Sumitr chuenmanus (then Lieutenant). There were no English lyrics for the tune.
