          เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ลำดับที่ ๓๙ ทรงพระราชนิพนธ์ทำนองและคำร้องภาษาอังกฤษพร้อมกันในพุทธศักราช ๒๕๐๘ ต่อมาทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้นายอาจินต์ ปัญจพรรค์ ประพันธ์คำร้องภาษาไทยชื่อ  “ไร้จันทร์” ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค และหม่อมหลวงประพันธ์ สนิทวงศ์ประพันธ์คำร้องภาษาไทยถวายชื่อ  “ไร้เดือน”

          The thirty-ninth royal musical composition was also the number that His Majesty wrote both music and English lyrics together at the same time in 1965. He later had two versions of the Thai lyrics as “Rai Chan” by Mr. Ajin Panjapan and “Rai Duean” by Thanpuying Maniratana Bunnag and Mom Luang Praphan Sanitwong.
